Unified Government FY 2010 Budget Hearings

The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County has three public hearings on its proposed FY 2010 budget scheduled for May. They are:

Wednesday, 06 May – Planning Auditorium (5:30 p.m.)

Thursday, 14 May – Planning Auditorium (5:30 p.m.)

Thursday, 21 May – City Hall Commission Chambers (6:45 p.m.)

Public comments will also be taken at the following meetings that have the FY2010 Budget on the agenda:

Thursday, 21 May (agenda setting session) – City Hall Commission Chamber (7:00 p.m.)

Tuesday, 02 June (regular voting session) – City Hall Commission Chamber (7:00 p.m.)

View the proposed budget here. The proposed millage rate increases from 12.95 mills to 13.20 mills.

The Unified Government has slated final adoption of the proposed budget and the proposed millage rate for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday 02 June.
