Finally, Chief Probation Officer, Dale Allen will give a presentation on the Athens-Clarke County Probation Services. The meeting will begin at 6:00pm with brief announcements and introductions. Right now Nancy is running for reelection and is currently facing Tim Denson (no relation) in the mayoral race. | Dale Allen is the Chief Probation Officer for the Athens-Clarke County Probation Services. His Presentation, “ The Economics of Doing the Right Thing” will provide An overview of the Athens-Clarke County Probation Services two-prong operating philosophy that prioritizes accountability and rehabilitation opportunities will be presented. Since the inception of this governmental probation unit in 2008, public safety has been enhanced and progressive community reintegration promoted while maintaining a positive fiscal result for the citizens of Athens-Clarke. |
