|Nancy Denson was elected Mayor of Athens-Clarke in 2010. Prior to serving as Mayor, Nancy was the Athens-Clarke County Tax Commissioner for 25 years. |Brian Slowinski currently resides in Columbia County and is running for the 10th Congressional District. Prior to his campaign, Brian served as Chairman of the Columbia County Republican Party and was involved in the 10th District Georgia GOP. |Dale Allen is the Chief Probation Officer for the Athens-Clarke County Probation Services. His Presentation, “ The Economics of Doing the Right Thing” will provide An overview of the Athens-Clarke County Probation Services two-prong operating philosophy that prioritizes accountability and rehabilitation opportunities will be presented. Since the inception of this governmental probation unit in 2008, public safety has been enhanced and progressive community reintegration promoted while maintaining a positive fiscal result for the citizens of Athens-Clarke.|
