Athens-Clarke County Seeks Candidates for Major Policy Boards

The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County seeks candidates to fill the following terms on important policy-making boards:

Two partial terms on the Board of Health:

One position must be a consumer member who will represent the needy, underprivileged, or elderly community expiring on December 31, 2015. One position must be a licensed physician actively practicing expiring on December 31, 2017

Two positions on the Construction Board of Appeals for a term of five years: 

One position must be a general contractor who actively and currently engaged in the field of building construction for at least five years. One position must be a HVAC (Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning) and hold a State of Georgia Unrestricted Conditioned Air Contractors License

One partial term on the Development Authority of the Unified Government of A-CC

expiring June 30, 2015

One position on the Industrial Development Authority for a term of two years: 

One partial term expiring December 31, 2014

Three positions on the Library Board for a term of five years

Two positions on the Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly Authority for a term of six years: 

One partial term expiring June 30, 2017

One partial term on the Vision Committee

expiring June 30, 2014
