In a free country, wouldn’t interfering in private contracts, seizing private property and imprisoning people indefinitely without charge be illegal?Legal scholar Robert Levy discusses the twelve landmark cases in which the Supreme Court sanctioned these and other abuses on April 6, at the inaugural “Evening with FEE.” The evening begins at 6:45 at the Westin Peacthree Plaza in Atlanta, with a small reception in the International C room. Robert Levy is senior legal scholar in constitutional studies and chairman of the board of directors at Cato Institute. His articles on law, investments and public policy have appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Washington Post, National Review, and many other publications. Robert Levy received his Ph.D. in business from the American University and his J.D. degree from the George Mason University School of Law. He has been a long time friend of the Foundation for Economic Education.
