2010 ATHENS-CLARKE COUNTY OVERVIEW COMMISSION
Twenty years ago the citizens of Clarke County and the city of Athens consolidated their governments to create the unified Athens-Clarke County Government (1990 - Present). The Overview Commission was created to review the operations of the government. Citizens of Athens-Clarke County now have the opportunity to voice their opinion on the efficiency and effectiveness of the governing body.
