Want Accountability from the A-CC Board of Tax Assessors?

On Monday, October 4, 2010, Judge Lawton E. Stephens will hear evidence and legal argument supporting the removal of the Athens-Clarke County Board of Tax Assessors.  This is an opportunity for you to hear government officials, including Mayor Heidi Davison, explain the policies and procedures(or lack thereof) which govern the manner in which your property is assessed.  Court begins at 9:00 a.m. at 325 E. Washington Street and we urge you to come assist and support the efforts of ordinary citizens to interject transparency and accountability into the process.   We think you will be appropriately outraged
