Clarke County GOP Meeting Monday, September 13th Please join us for our next monthly meeting on September 13th.  We meet the second Monday of every month at 6:00pm and our location for the rest of this year will be at the new Country Inn and Suites at 236 Old Epps Bridge Road in Athens. Refreshments are served.  Our speakers for the evening are Congressman Paul Broun, Jr. and Phil Kent, author and political commentator.   Phil Kent is the president of the Atlanta-based Phil Kent Consulting Inc. which specializes in media communications. As an author, columnist and media commentator, Phil has appeared on Fox News Network, CNN, MSNBC, and syndicated talk radio programs across the nation. Mr. Kent regularly appears on the "Georgia Gang" on Sunday mornings on WAGA-TV in Atlanta.  He has authored "Foundations of Betrayal" and "The Dark Side of Liberalism. He also became a Navy Medical Officer.  A graduate of UGA and the Medical College of Georgia, Paul Broun is a family physician who has served patients for thirty-seven years.  Paul is well-known for being Georgia's only 100% house-call doctor. He has served as a member of the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation Board and of its Long-range Planning Committee.
